About the Role
The Sr. Project Director leads all Facility Construction development for major land, attraction, or hotel projects at NBCUniversal — from planning and budgeting through construction, fabrication, delivery, and commissioning. Drives budget, quality, schedule, creative, and guest experience targets.
What You'll Do
- Lead procurement, contracting, and oversight of all Contractors, Vendors, Manufacturers, and Fabricators
- Maintain and report overall project budget and schedule
- Coordinate implementation of creative/architectural content from the Creative team and outside consultants
- Manage qualification and contracting of Architectural, Engineering, and Technical Designers
- Select and hire the project team; manage performance and development of each team member
- Track and report budget, schedule, and project progress to upper management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management (Master's preferred)
- Licensed Architect or Engineer preferred
- 20–25 years of experience in major theme park, attraction, or hospitality/entertainment project development
- Required on-site: full-time on-property commitment
Pay & Benefits
Salary: $210,000–$260,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible). Medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement.
