Northrop Grumman is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Woodland Hills, CA. This position supports software development on advanced defense programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate software components for mission-critical systems
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with systems engineers, hardware engineers, and test teams
- Support software integration, verification, and validation activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects across development and production environments
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related STEM discipline with 2 years’ experience, or Master’s Degree
- Proficiency in C++, Python, or Java
- Experience with Linux or Unix-based development environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with real-time, embedded, or safety-critical software
- Familiarity with software configuration management tools (Git, SVN)
- Active DoD Secret clearance
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
Salary Range
$91,800–$137,600/year
