Senior Surgical Technician - Full Time

About the role

Senior Surgical Technician at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, CA. Full-time, 12-hour shifts, may include evenings and variable shifts (schedule options discussed at interview). Performs a variety of technical duties to scrub in surgery, prepares operating rooms, and serves as a resource for at least one surgical specialty.

What you'll do

• Prepare operating rooms for surgery using appropriate techniques
• Provide technical services and assist in the operating room as assigned and directed
• Serve as a resource alongside the RN Specialty Coordinator for at least one surgical specialty

Requirements

• Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirement
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) upon hire
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) upon hire
• 5 years of scrub experience
