About the role
The Senior Analytical Chemist performs advanced analytical testing of dietary supplement, cosmetic, personal care, and related products, generating and interpreting analytical data and serving as a technical resource within the laboratory.
What you'll do
- Perform complex analytical testing using HPLC, GC, LC/MS, GC/MS, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, UV-Vis, FTIR, titration, and other methodologies
- Prepare samples, standards, reagents, and QC materials per approved procedures
- Review and evaluate analytical data for accuracy, reliability, and compliance
- Identify out-of-specification results and assist with investigations and root cause analysis
- Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation, including IQ/OQ/PQ activities
- Participate in ISO 17025 proficiency testing and quality assurance activities
- Assist in developing, optimizing, and validating analytical methods
- Train and mentor laboratory personnel
