Security Specialist

About the role

Target Security Specialists (Assets Protection) keep the store safe for guests and team members using intelligence-led tactics to prevent theft, respond to safety incidents, and build relationships with public safety partners.

What you'll do

• Keep guests and team members safe using intelligence-led security tactics
• Respond to safety and crisis events including crowd management and de-escalation
• Detect and deter theft and fraud to protect store inventory
• Monitor and operate Target's video surveillance system
• Document cases accurately using case management systems
• Build relationships with store leaders and local law enforcement

Requirements

• Calm and professional under pressure
• Strong communication and de-escalation skills
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift
• Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends

Pay & benefits

$21.50/hr
