RN - NICU Per Diem, Day Shift

About the role

RN – NICU, Per Diem Day Shift at Adventist Health Glendale. Provides expert neonatal intensive care nursing to critically ill and premature newborns on a per diem day shift basis.

What you'll do

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to NICU patients including premature and critically ill newborns
• Monitor vital signs, ventilators, and IV lines; respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary NICU team
• Support and educate families throughout their NICU experience
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record

Requirements

• Active California RN license
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• NICU nursing experience required (Level II or Level III)
• Availability for per diem day shift coverage
