About the role
RN – GI Lab, Per Diem at Adventist Health Glendale. Provides nursing care to patients undergoing gastrointestinal procedures including endoscopies and colonoscopies on a per diem basis.
What you'll do
- Prepare patients for GI procedures and monitor them before, during, and after
- Assist physicians during endoscopy, colonoscopy, and other GI procedures
- Administer moderate sedation and manage patient airways per protocol
- Recover patients post-procedure and provide discharge instructions
- Maintain GI lab equipment and supplies
Requirements
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- GI lab, endoscopy, or procedural nursing experience required
- CGRN certification preferred
