About the role
Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner – NICU, Per Diem at Adventist Health Glendale. Provides respiratory therapy services to neonatal ICU patients on a per diem basis.
What you'll do
- Deliver respiratory care to NICU patients including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway care
- Assess and monitor neonatal patients for respiratory status changes
- Collaborate with neonatologists and the NICU team on respiratory care plans
- Respond to respiratory emergencies and assist with resuscitations
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
Requirements
- Active California Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
- RRT credential preferred
- NICU or neonatal respiratory therapy experience required
- BLS and NRP certifications required
