Phlebotomist

About the role

Phlebotomist at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center in Tarzana. Performs blood draws and specimen collection for laboratory testing, ensuring patient safety and sample integrity.

What you'll do

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages
• Collect and label specimens accurately and according to protocols
• Process and transport specimens to the laboratory in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized phlebotomy workstation
• Provide a calming, professional experience for patients during collection

Requirements

• Phlebotomy certification (CPT) preferred or equivalent clinical experience
• BLS certification required
• Experience with pediatric and/or difficult draws preferred
• Part-time availability including weekends
