Responsibilities

• Teach/tutor using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
• Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
• Follow up with parents and guardians regarding students' learning progress and engagement
• Become proficient with Mathnasium educational materials, systems, and processes
• Report to Center Director/Assistant Center Directors/Lead Instructors for instruction/work
• Be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling assigned duties and obligations
• Be honest and ethical in interactions with all customers
• Work at least 3 days per week aligned with instructional hours

Qualifications

• Passion for math and working with students
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to learn and be trained
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
• Ability to balance various ongoing tasks
• High school diploma preferred

All applicants will be required to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.

Pay

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
