About the role
Focus Features is seeking a hard-working, creative, and passionate publicist with experience executing all facets of theatrical publicity campaigns. Must have strong editorial relationships, direct experience pitching and securing coverage for talent, filmmakers, and events/stunts, and prior experience working with agencies and talent representatives.
What you'll do
- Pitch, secure, and plan long-lead and fast-breaking publicity campaigns for a diverse array of films
- Manage day-to-day publicity for assigned titles across multiple platforms
- Coordinate talent participation in press interviews, events, and screenings
- Maintain editorial relationships across entertainment, culture, and general news outlets
- Partner with internal teams and external agencies on campaign strategy
- Track press coverage and report results
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of theatrical publicity experience
- Strong editorial relationships across entertainment media
- Experience working directly with talent, talent representatives, and PR agencies
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay & benefits
$80,000–$105,000/year. Hybrid work schedule. NBCUniversal full benefits.
