About this role
NBCUniversal’s Universal Film division is hiring a Director, Global Communications in Universal City to lead corporate communications and media relations strategy. Hybrid role (minimum 4 days/week in office).
What you'll do
- Develop and execute communications programs supporting Universal Film’s business priorities
- Lead media relations and executive visibility initiatives
- Draft press releases, messaging documents, and executive communications
- Coordinate across Government Affairs, Legal, HR, and global film divisions
- Coach and develop junior communications team members
Requirements
- 7+ years in communications, media relations, or public relations
- Exceptional writing, messaging, and storytelling skills
- Demonstrated experience executing complex communications strategies
- Entertainment, media, studio, or agency experience preferred
Pay & benefits
- Salary: $130,000–$150,000/year; bonus and long-term incentive eligible

- Hybrid: minimum 4 days/week in Universal City office
