About the Role
The Director, Content Insights & Analytics will sit on Peacock's Advanced Content Analytics team within NBCU Media Group Decision Sciences and serve as a senior leader overseeing content performance across a variety of genres on Peacock. This role acts as a strategic authority on content and audience insights.
The Media Group at NBCU supports Peacock, NBC, Bravo, NBC Sports, and NBCU International.
Responsibilities
- Lead content performance analytics across genres on Peacock, translating data into actionable insights for content leadership.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on content strategy, programming decisions, and audience growth.
- Partner with Programming, Marketing, Finance, and Product teams to deliver data-driven recommendations.
- Build and maintain analytics frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools that track content health and engagement.
- Manage and develop a team of analysts.
- Present insights and findings to senior leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or insights in media, streaming, or entertainment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar tools.
- Experience with streaming media metrics and content performance analytics.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-level narratives.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing and developing analytics teams.
Salary: $130,000–$200,000 per year.
