About the role
Marshalls (TJX Companies) is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, drive sales performance, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
What you'll do
- Lead, coach, and develop store team members to meet performance goals
- Drive store sales and profitability
- Oversee daily store operations, scheduling, and staffing
- Ensure visual merchandising and presentation standards are met
- Handle customer escalations and resolve issues
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Uphold loss prevention and compliance standards
Requirements
- Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends
