Explore the flow and foundations of the martial arts fan, a practice that blends balance, precision, and humble strength, with martial arts and mindfulness instructor Joelle Nanawa at Topanga Nursery. The class covers a brief history of T’ai Chi and the fan as a weapon, a Qigong warm-up and balance activation, foundational stances and body mechanics, fan basics and movement sequences, the beginning section of a fan form, and a micro practice to take home for nervous system regulation. Open to all levels with beginners in mind. Spots limited to 12 participants due to supplies. Pre-registration required.
